FACTA Marketing
FACTA has many RIMshred vendors salivating. A quick fix to increasing their business. Dramatically… or so they hope.
NAID has been selling the FACTA brochure like crazy to RIMshred vendors. And so they should… it is a great brochure and becomes a great back-up resource… but don’t assume that sending a FACTA brochure will be the magic pill to get new business in the door. The key to selling based on this law is not what is in it for you…. it is what is in it for them. Customers can spot greed a mile away. If you put a FACTA brochure in front of them expecting they will say “yes, bring in the consoles” you are sadly mistaken. Remember, your prospects will only do business with you if they choose to, not because there is a new “law” in place. If they even sense that you are using a law to demand their business.. you are out the door.
The goal is to consistently remind your potential prospects that they are now in a new environment that holds them to a higher standard then they might be used to. They need to be reminded not just once, but in a number of ways. I encourage you to get out to the chamber or other meetings and speak about it. Get your local Business Journal to write about it using you as a reference source.
Bottom line… the world hasn’t changed… you just have some stronger back-up to market with.
